This concert presents the Gregorian and Ambrosian chant used at the canonization Mass for Frances Xavier Cabrini, the first U.S. citizen to be named a saint. The program includes pieces from votive Masses and songs sung by Mother Cabrini in her lifetime. Mother Cabrini died in 1917 and was canonized on July 7, 1946. Her Feast Day is Monday, November 13.The Shrine will open for this concert at 6:15pm. 

The Majesta Chanters will be joined by guest artists for this event. The Majesta Chanters are led by Paul Novosel, who earned his MA in Ritual Chant and Song from the University of Limerick, Ireland. Mr. Novosel studied chant under Catherine Sergent of Discantus, and is a keyboardist and author.
